Having spent the past 25 years living and working in China, witnessing first-hand the incredible transformation of a nation, I’ve learned never to fear change. In fact, I’ve come to see change as an opportunity for growth, discovery, and progress. This is an attitude I hope to share with every student, teacher, and family at RVIS.

RVIS focuses on preparing students for life, not just school. We help them build the skills they need to think critically, learn independently, and navigate the future with confidence. We also work hard to ensure students feel a true sense of belonging and know they can achieve great things, personally and academically.

My vision is for RVIS to be a place where every student is truly known, supported, and challenged. A place where learning is personal, curiosity is encouraged, and students are empowered to take charge of their growth. Alongside academic excellence, our school aims to help students build resilience and creativity that will help them thrive throughout their lives. Our strong sense of community and commitment to the holistic development of each child set us apart. Our size allows us to truly know our students, their interests, their goals, and their potential. We personalize learning so that each student feels seen, heard, and understood. We also embrace innovation, using it as a tool to help students develop the mindset and flexibility they will need for the future.
