On Saturday, October 6, parents, students and teachers came together for a Community Mission Review. We engaged in a design thinking exercise that allowed us to share ideas around several key questions. After sharing ideas and discussing these questions, we defined our key priorities as a school: personalization in all that we do – learning, identity, and community.

Celebrating 10 years of excellence & growth, Riffa Views International School is happy to announce the opening of THE LEARNING COMMONS right in the heart of the school! Formerly the elementary library space, Mr. Pink and his team have transformed the wide open area into a welcoming gathering space for all to explore. With the advantage of Level5 coming to the second floor, well thought out book consolidation has happened without loss of any important library materials. Come see our full shelves, and check out something to read!

Everyone is an important DOT in the RVIS tree! On 16th September 2018, the Riffa Views International School community added their fingerprints to a mural in the breezeway to create a tree that represents our community and the value each member adds. Everyone forms a point or a “dot” of this large tree, which could not have been completed without the participation of everyone; this was one of the messages that the school aimed to deliver to the students on the International Dot Day.

Our Early Childhood program employs developmentally appropriate, holistic approach to teaching. It focuses on academics and social emotional growth. Throughout the program our team works hard to cultivate the inquisitive nature of children to encourage learning in all environments. The Nursery program at RVIS, offers the internationally recognized Reggio Emilia learning approach. The Nursery program is designed using an emergent curriculum where projects and themes are inspired by the children’s own interests.
