In Early Childhood, learning happens in a developmentally appropriate way through a balance of teacher-guided experiences, student-initiated exploration, and purposeful play-based engagements. Students spend the majority of their day with their homeroom teacher where they focus on each child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development; while also introducing foundational literacy and mathematical skills and understandings. Students also have the opportunity to participate in Arabic, P.E., and Music lessons from specialist teachers throughout the week. Students develop independence, learn and have fun as they explore, inquire, play and interact with other children, teachers and their environment.
Children arrive, get organized, settle in, make connections and engage through group discussions and songs.
