The Tree of Life has lived for over 400 years old, it is located in the middle of the desert without any source of water. Would you like to learn all about an explorer? Do you like presentations? Then you might like the 5th grade explorer project. First we choose and research an explorer, then we write an essay. Next we presented to the class our work. Finally, we made 3D boats using Tinkercad and printed in our LEVEL 5.
In fifth grade we have many subject areas like Math, writing, social studies and science. Important topics are: division, multiplication, and fractions. In writing, we wrote stories and presented them for our class and we wrote about our countries. In Science, we do a fun gummy bear project and learn about plants. For Social Studies, we learn about explorers. We research them and explain to the class. Our biggest project is our Living Museum. We read and write about a country, take notes and research, and then present. It's very busy, but also fun!
Can you imagine having two recesses every day? If you like recess, RVIS is the place for you. Each day we have two recesses that could be on the playground, soccer field, or basketball court. The school schedule is Sunday to Thursday and a special IGNITE Day every Tuesday. We have lunch in our cafeteria and you can buy lunch from Healthy Calorie. Each day, 5th graders have math, writing, reading, word work or spelling, Arabic, and specialists (PE, Art, Music). We also have assemblies and Library time too. I think you will love this schedule!

International day is one of the best days in RVIS history! It's a fun day when we come dressed like the country where we're from and bring food. You get to eat from all around the world on this day like bulgaros from Brazil. We don't have any classes, just activities and there is a parade. The timing is around April.
Cooking in school wow! On IGNITE day we do many activities. It is every Tuesday. We start the day with an assembly. We do intramurals, which includes sports and games. It's the funnest day of the week for school.
Singing by the campfire, roasting marshmallows and climbing and rolling down a jebel. RVIS camping is the best. On the last Wednesday of February we all go out on our bus ready for adventure. All our bags should be packed with sleeping bags, clothes, toothbrushes, shoes, and tents. Once we get to the desert in southern Bahrain we unload and start making tents. After the tents we have a little time to play and maybe do a scavenger hunt. In the evening we tell spooky stories and eat hot dogs. The next day we take an adventure before we go back to school. As you heard camping is amazing and I hope you have fun when you go!
