By Jo Garrahy
Deputy Head of School
Published: 2020-09-14 10:20:27

Last fall, as part of our continued commitment to our strategic goal of Community Wellness, our Board of Trustees approved a new position: Assistant Principal for Student Wellness. We are pleased to announce that, in addition to teaching Drama, Mr. Kelly will be working alongside principals and teachers this year to serve student wellness.

Mr. Kelly will be part of a dedicated team that will develop and implement activities to support wellbeing across the school. This will include working closely with our school counselors and the Director for Student Life in planning our assemblies, student leadership opportunities and house program. In addition, he will be working with students and teachers as we strive to model our 4Bs and our Student Profile. We are excited to welcome Mr Kelly to this role and to start the year with community wellness as a continued priority for everyone at RVIS.
