One of the key features of RVIS is our personalized approach to education; last week students led meetings with their advisors and parents to discuss their learning. During this time, students shared examples of their work from their classes and discussed their goals for learning. This strategy empowers students in presenting and understanding their learning. Following these conferences, all this week, parents have been attending virtual open houses with their student’s teachers. Teachers made introduction videos that were sent out to parents and then parents met with teachers individually - giving a personalized connection to each family. This is just one of the many examples of how RVIS is leading the future of learning.
