Transportation
RVIS partners with Al Hutaim Transportation and Tourism Company to provide safe, reliable, and professional bus services for our students. This partnership ensures that safety and hygiene standards are maintained at the highest level, with buses operating at half capacity and disinfected after each drop-off.
Al Hutaim also offers transportation for after-school activities and sporting events, enabling students to participate fully in the wide range of programs at RVIS. For families requiring cross-border travel, bus services to and from Saudi Arabia are available.
Rates, detailed information, and application forms are provided through Al Hutaim, which operates independently of RVIS. Families who wish to use this service will contract directly with the company.

Uniform and dress code

The RVIS school uniform offers students comfortable choices while reflecting the values of the school and respecting Bahrain’s cultural and social expectations. Students must wear their uniform during school hours and at all school-related activities, both on and off campus.
If a student arrives out of uniform, they may be asked to return home to change. All uniforms and accessories are available exclusively at House of Uniforms in Al Ali Mall, near Seef Mall. The store is open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and can be contacted at +973 1773 0650.
Uniform details:
- Shoes should be comfortable school or sports shoes in white, gray, or black. Sports shoes are required on days when students have physical education lessons.
- Socks must be white, gray, or black.
- Girls may wear tights in gray, black, or white.
- Skirts must be knee length.
- Sweaters for Nursery through Grade 5 are green, while students in Grades 6 through 12 wear gray sweaters.
- A separate physical education uniform is worn by students in Grades 1 through 12.
Wearing the uniform helps promote a sense of belonging and equality among students. Uniform guidelines ensure that clothing is practical for learning and safe for school activities. Maintaining a neat and presentable appearance is encouraged as part of personal responsibility and respect for the school community.

Health and Safety

Student safety is a shared responsibility across the school community.
Secure Access
All students and staff enter through a secure entrance, with biometric attendance systems to monitor arrivals and departures.
Emergency Preparedness
The school conducts regular drills and staff training for situations such as fire, lockdown, and medical emergencies.
Health and Well-being Support
Our well-being team includes a full-time school psychologist, elementary and secondary school counselors, and a Head of Pastoral Care. Alongside first aid and basic medical support, students have access to social and emotional guidance throughout the school day.
Student Behavior and Discipline

We support students in developing responsibility, respect, and reflection through clear expectations and guidance:
- Our approach focuses on building positive relationships and encouraging students to make good choices.
- When behavior concerns arise, we address them in ways that help students understand the impact of their actions, repair harm, and re-establish trust.
- Consistent expectations apply to all students, with responses tailored to the situation and the student’s needs.

Parent–Teacher Communication
Open communication between home and school strengthens student success:
- Teachers share learning updates and important information through our official platforms, including Toddle, email, and scheduled in-person meetings.
- Families can expect responses to inquiries within 24 hours during the school week.
- Weekly updates from divisions and homeroom teachers ensure that parents remain informed about both classroom learning and wider school activities.
