The gymnasium at (RVIS) was transformed into a vibrant global village for the annual Living Museum. The event was filled with the buzz of learning and the warmth of community, as Grade 5 students showcased their in-depth research about different countries in an authentic, creative, and engaging manner.

The Living Museum is a unique opportunity for our young learners to dive deep into the study of a country that sparks their interest. This year, the students outdid themselves, transforming their fascination for diverse cultures into a well-orchestrated exhibition. Each student or group selected a country, embarked on an immersive research journey, and then shared their findings through a curated booth. These booths were not just visually appealing, but they were also a testament to our students' thorough research, creativity, and hard work. They featured intriguing cultural artifacts, informative posters, and even a tantalizing array of cultural foods.

The event highlighted the importance of small class sizes at RVIS, which enables personalized attention and guidance for every student. This is instrumental in nurturing student agency, empowering them to take charge of their learning, and helping them delve into the depths of their chosen topics.

As attendees strolled from booth to booth, they were treated to short, engaging presentations by our students. These presentations were more than just recitals of facts. They were stories woven with details about the country's history, culture, and people, showcasing the students' deep understanding and passion for their subject matter.

The success of the Living Museum lies not only in the impressive work of our Grade 5 students but also in the engagement and interest of the entire school community. The gym was filled with enthusiastic learners of all ages, students, parents, and staff members, all keen to explore the rich tapestry of cultures presented by our students. The RVIS Living Museum has once again proven to be an effective platform for igniting passions, promoting a love for learning, and celebrating the diversity and interconnectedness of our world. It's inspiring to see how our students, given the agency and the right environment, can truly become ambassadors of the world.
