Senior Trip Update By Ken Davis Director of Marketing and Admissions Published: 2023-10-18 06:08:37 Our Grade 12 students are currently on a trip to Barcelona, making the most of the city's rich offerings. This is a time for our seniors to celebrate their accomplishments thus far and re energize for a rigorous last few months of high school. They hit the ground running while taking time to stop and enjoy the beauty of Spain. On day one, they started at Bogatell Beach near the Poblenou neighborhood, a space known for its shift from industry to art. Later, they explored Gaudi's Park Güell, taking in its unique mosaics and city views. Day two and three took them to Montserrat and Ferrari Land, where they hiked the famous mountain and learned about its historic monastery, while exploring the world of racing. Evenings were spent in La Rambla, where they browsed the Mercado de la Boqueria, and took a stroll through the Gothic Quarter, retracing the steps of artistic giants like Picasso and Gaudi. On the fourth day, they visited Gaudi's renowned Sagrada Família, followed by a cycling trip around the PGA Golf Course leading to Caldes de Malavella. They capped off the day with outdoor activities, testing their skills on ziplines and suspension bridges. The trip continues to offer our students invaluable experiences, combining learning with fun leaving lasting impressions on tomorrow's leaders!
