On February 29th, RVIS came alive with a vibrant celebration of cultures from around the world during our annual International Day. The event showcased the rich diversity of our small, close-knit community, with over 50 countries represented in the spectacular Parade of Nations.

As students, staff, and families paraded in colorful national attire, the air was filled with a sense of pride and unity. The parade was just the beginning of a day filled with cultural exploration and fun. Country booths set up around the school gym offered a glimpse into the traditions, food, and games of different nations. From tantalizing dishes that delighted the taste buds to engaging games and activities, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The highlight of the day was the whole school assembly, which featured an array of performances that celebrated our global heritage. Students took to the stage to sing songs in various languages, showcasing their linguistic talents and the diversity of our school community. The cultural dances were a feast for the eyes, with dancers moving gracefully to the rhythms of their various cultures, sharing a piece of their heritage with the school community.
