Our students are proudly showing their commitment to alleviating hunger and nourishing communities in need. This initiative aims to provide essential sustenance and create unity through food packages containing items such as rice, milk, and cooking oil.Charity (Zakat) is considered one of the fundamental pillars of Islam. It holds great significance in the faith and plays a vital role in promoting social justice, compassion, and community well-being. By fulfilling their charitable obligations, Muslims strive to create a just and equitable society where everyone has access to basic necessities and opportunities.As a community, RVIS recognizes the significance of Ramadan as a time of increased compassion and generosity, making it an opportune moment to make a profound impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals and families.The Ramadan charity food drive embraces the values of empathy and compassion, as well as fostering a spirit of activism and community awareness. Volunteers and donors came together to contribute their time, resources, and funds, ensuring that families facing financial hardships can observe Ramadan with dignity.With the continuation of Ramadan, RVIS' charity food drive serves as a shining example of equity and solidarity. By nourishing communities and alleviating hunger, our students embody the true essence of Ramadan, inspiring others to extend a helping hand and work towards a world where no one goes to bed hungry. All care packages are being donated to needy families via the Royal Humanitarian Foundation. This year our children managed to collect 50 boxes.
