Class of 2024 Graduation Ceremony By Deena Alreefy Marketing and Community Relations Liaison Published: 2024-06-05 05:50:05 On May 31st, 2024, Riffa Views International School celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2024 at a ceremony held at the Bahrain National Theatre. Thirty students donned their caps and gowns to mark the culmination of their secondary school journey at RVIS. The event was attended by distinguished guests, including the Chairman and Members of the Board of Trustees, RVIS faculty and administration, proud parents, graduates, relatives, and friends. The ceremony commenced with a graduate procession, the national anthem of Bahrain, and a recitation of the Holy Quran. RVIS Head of School Jo Garrahy delivered the commencement address, reflecting on the graduates' hard work, dedication, and character over the past 12 years. Board Member Shaikh Abdulaziz Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa congratulated the class, emphasizing the school's mission of "Learning today, leading tomorrow" and expressing confidence in the graduates' ability to responsibly harness new technologies to address global challenges.During the ceremony, Secondary School Principal LaKeicia Denson recognized academic standouts, including valedictorian Fatima Alsaleh, salutatorian Sophia Titoni, and Aesha Al Khalifa, recipient of the Dolphin Award for embodying the school's values. Graduates who completed the rigorous IB Diploma Program and RVIS Scholars with exceptional GPAs were also celebrated. As each student crossed the stage to receive their diploma from Board Chairman Atif A. Abdulmalik, the RVIS community reflected on the graduates' remarkable achievements and the support that empowered their success - from families, faculty, and the guidance of religious teachings.
