Grade 10 UNIDO Entrepreneurship Program By Ken Davis Admissions/Marketing Director Published: 2021-03-03 12:24:18 Under the leadership of the M.O.E. and the Investment and Technology Promotion Office of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), RVIS has been invited to participate in an entrepreneurship program that provides students with meaningful experiences that focuses on helping to achieve the U.N. sustainable development goals. The program offers both a theoretical and practical component for participants and gives them a taste of entrepreneurial thinking. Each week students participate in lectures that focus on citizenship, media, critical thinking, technology, and language empowerment. Students also have access to other information to learn more about successful entrepreneurs in the region and across the globe. At the conclusion of the course students have the opportunity to present their plan at the School’s SDG Olympics with the hopes of having it put into action with the support of the MoE and the UNIDO. This project allows students to put their creative thinking and innovative skills to the test to develop something that could have a lasting impact on the country of Bahrain and the world.
