Riffa Views, Kingdom of Bahrain, December 30, 2020 - Riffa Views International School hosts an art exhibition at the Avenues Mall in tribute to the frontline workers who are keeping Bahrain and the rest of the world safe during the COVID 19 pandemic. With over 60 submissions from grade 1 to 12, the students of RVIS expressed their deepest gratitude to the doctors, nurses, teachers and countless other professions who are serving the country every day.

H.E Sh. Hala bint Mohammed Al Khalifa the Director-General of Culture and Arts at the Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities joined the RVIS Board of Trustees on Monday, December 14, 2020 to help judge the event and name the winners. “We are honored to have Sh. Hala Al Khalifa join us in this event where we, the RVIS family, were able to show our appreciation for the frontliners who are keeping us safe during this pandemic. Our students expressed their thanks through their art and wanted to share it with everyone in the kingdom,” stated Ms. Fatima Al Khalifa, Art Teacher at RVIS, and one of the event organizers.

The RVIS Art Department embraced a key tenet of the school, ‘Impact through Action' when organizing this event.  “Art is a wonderful way to celebrate our trials and tribulations and we are very proud of our art program for inspiring this meaningful tribute to Bahrain's heroes and to our students for their excellent submissions. Our mission inspires us to make an impact, and through this project, our students have been able to reflect on the impact of COVID-19s frontline workers. We are all grateful to Bahrain for its heroic efforts during the pandemic,” stated Ms. Tara Waudby, the Head of School at RVIS.
