The RVIS parent community were all invited to “Coffee With the Leadership”, a social event that took place on Monday morning in the Elementary School Cafetorium. Hosted by the Leadership Team alongside the Parent Teacher Partnership (PTP), the event was an opportunity for parents, faculty and leadership to catch up and connect over a cup of coffee.

A lively atmosphere set the tone for a morning all about strengthening the RVIS community. The open and informal design allowed parents to easily join the social at any time between 8 and 9:30 a.m. School leadership including the elementary and secondary school principals and available faculty were present at the event, providing a chance for parents and faculty to further get to know each other.

Ms. Jo Garahy, Head of School, thanked parents for attending and introduced the PTP President, Latifa Al Khalifa. When later asked about the event, Latifa Al Khalifa said “Just like RVIS is a school on the move, the PTP is a parent group on the move and we hope to cater to our parent community's needs, and that is to build stronger connections through more events like this in the future.”
