RVIS Celebrates Career Day By Muneera Al Khalifa Grade 12 Student Published: 2022-02-02 07:37:57 Career day is an annual event celebrated and enjoyed by RVIS students across all grade levels. On Tuesday morning, students walked into school dressed as doctors, athletes, artists and many other future careers. The event is held to give students the opportunity to explore their passions and interact with professionals within a wide range of career fields. Upon entering the school, there was a photo booth for students and faculty to commemorate the special event. Elementary students engaged in various career-related activities such as creating personalized posters and videos. The RVIS landscaping company prepared a gardening demonstration for elementary students as well, where they took part in planting the school's gardens. Secondary students were presented with a range of sessions by professionals working in fields such as interior design, cardiology and education. They were able to speak with these professionals directly and ask them questions.The event came to a close with a panel talk featuring three professionals, in which they offered advice and discussed questions about finding passions and what the future holds.“I am very proud of all the students and look forwards to having more personalized activities in the future” said Ms. Hanadi, one of the organizers of the event.
