Students Present Innovative Projects to UNIDO By Ken Davis Director of Marketing and Admissions Published: 2022-03-30 04:38:07 For the past two years, RVIS high school students have participated in the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), an entrepreneurship program that provides students with meaningful experiences that focus on helping achieve the U.N. sustainable development goals. In support of the organization, RVIS had the opportunity to host Ms. Maryam Ajaj, a UNIDO Business Associate, and Dr. Amal Aljower, the UNIDO Health Promotion Expert earlier this week. During the event two groups of students presented their business plans on disposable mask dispensers and automated recycling systems. Each presentation included finance plans, marketing strategies and how the projects connect to the U.N Sustainable Development Goals. The two groups will refine their presentations based on the feedback received from Ms. Ajaj and Dr. Amal, and present to a larger group of judges later this year.We look forward to watching our students further their entrepreneurial spirit in the future. A huge thank you to Dr. Amin for leading the groups, Talal Butt, Adam Virella, Talal Audah and Waleed Ahmadi for putting in a tremendous amount of work and representing RVIS in this meaningful event.
