International Day and Spirit Week By Ken Davis Director of Marketing and Admissions Published: 2022-03-30 09:07:37 Our students and staff showed a tremendous amount of school spirit throughout our five spirit days! Students brought school supplies in shopping carts, animal carriers and picnic baskets on Sunday; wore mismatched shoes and clashing colors on Monday; Tuesday was a trip back in time with tie-dye and bell-bottoms; and finally, matching grade level colors today. The week concluded with our International Day community event. Beginning with a parade of nations, 55 countries representing our students, teachers and staff from around the world held their flags high as they walked around the field. The opening ceremony included singing from our Grade 3 and 4 students and a welcome speech from our Head of School along with some wise words from one of our Senior students Amatullah Mustafa. After the parade, the community spent the morning visiting country booths showcasing cultures from around the world. It was truly a day to remember.
