Celebrating the Class of 2022 By Ken Davis Director of Marketing and Admissions Published: 2022-06-01 09:09:26 RVIS celebrated their 7th Commencement Ceremony at the Ritz Carlton to honor the Class of 2022. Leading off the event was the Head of School Ms. Jo Garrahy, who reflected on the graduates time at RVIS, and the lasting impact they have made on the school. Amatullah Mustafa the Valedictorian spoke of how RVIS has equipped them for future challenges stating, “After graduating from RVIS, after learning all of the lessons we have, we are more than prepared to take on these new challenges in our adulthood.”The Dolphin Award, an honor given to the student who most embodies the RVIS mission, was awarded to Mariam Irhouma for her unwavering dedication to the school and its mission. In her charge to the Class of 2022, Mariam encouraged her classmates to not be timid about reaching for the highest peaks stating, “Whoever fears climbing mountains will live forever among the pits. Risks are understandably one of the scariest things one could possibly face, however, life is based on opportunities that could only be achieved through taking risks.”As a school, we have no doubt that our 34 graduates will not only climb mountains, but move them as well. Congratulations to the Class of 2022!
