The Students of Riffa Views International School community celebrates their outstanding IB results from the class of 2022.

The strong partnership between teachers and students has led to an outstanding achievement: RVIS earning a 100% pass rate for three years in a row! The class of 2022's dedication to their studies also helped them achieve an accumulative score above the worldwide average as a cohort, and roughly 70% of RVIS students' individual point totals were above the world average. Students also rose above the averages and excelled in the following subjects; English A: Language & Literature HL, Arabic Ab SL, Business management HL, Business management SL,  Psychology HL, Psychology SL, ESS SL, Biology HL, Biology SL, Chemistry SL, Math Analysis SL, Math Application SL, Visual Arts SL. All students earned bonus points by demonstrating outstanding work in  Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and Extended Essay.

“We are very proud of all our graduates, not just for their excellent academic results but also for their exemplary character and the contributions they have made to the RVIS community and beyond. Congratulations must also go to the talented and dedicated teachers who support all our students to reach their full potential,” said Jo Garrahy, Head of School. “My daughter is ecstatic with her results! She couldn't have done it without the undying support of her teachers, personalized learning journey, and the RVIS community. I'm so proud of her and her peers. She's now pursuing a degree in psychology in the University of Massachusetts where she's exempt from attending some university courses due to her IB Diploma” Said Nathan Taylor, an RVIS parent.

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is a two-year educational programme primarily aimed at grade 11 and 12 students. The curriculum is made up of six subject groups and the Diploma Programme core, comprising theory of knowledge (TOK), creativity, activity, service (CAS) and the extended essay. Through the Diploma Programme (DP) core, students reflect on the nature of knowledge, complete independent research and undertake a project that often involves community service. The IBDP is recognized and respected by the world's leading universities, and evidence suggests that higher rates of DP students receive acceptances to their top choice school allowing for greater opportunity and success in their future.
