IGNITE Learning Seminars are offered in short-cycle sessions across four weeks. They serve as learning enrichment & extension, personalization and specialization, with the goal of students engaging in deep learning in a variety of contexts. Seminars are outcome-focused, with the goal of sparking ideas, igniting passions and creating. While seminars are specialized, they are part of overarching strands to allow for integration and sustainability across time. For my passion project my goal was to create a kit that would contain the right hygiene products to take when going out. My outcome was a small plastic case that contained hand sanitizer, hand soap, masks, disinfectant spray, disinfectant wipes, and a strap to carry it. The benefits of this project are that it would make going out a lot more safe and fun because you would have the right materials to take with you.

Thrust Vectoring System

Over the span of 4 weeks, I focused on coding in Arduino and implementing that knowledge into a thrust vectoring system. To put it simply, thrust vectoring allows for a thrusters direction to be controlled. Which then steers the rocket; Furthermore, I decided to use Arduino which is essentially a mini computer to control all the systems on board. This is due to the fact there are tons of sensors, and options that allow me to optimize the system and how things work.
